On the World Mental Health Day, The Power of One Welfare foundation had organized a Mental health campaign in association with renowned Consultant psychiatrist, Dr. Rajesh Rathi. The founders of Power of One NGO, Mr. Ajay Bagdi and Mrs. Shilpi Bagdi had organized this live video session on social media with an objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health. The subject for the campaign was, “How to deal with mental health issues during COVID-19” which was conducted by Miss. Lavanya Paul. The live session was conducted on zoom and was later shared on social media platforms. The session was attended by 35 members, who were given a chance to get professional help from Dr. Rathi on their mental health issues. Power of One aims to conduct these campaigns every week, to make people more aware of their mental health!
Power of One, an NGO has been providing kits kg 5kg rice, 2 kg dal and 1 litre oil to families who are unable to afford to make the purchase as their livelihoods depend on daily wages and they have verb affected by the lockdown. The NGO, founded by Ajay and Shilpi Bagdi with a view to contribute their bit towards society has so far donated over 1,000 kits. The NGO has also collaborated with the community kitchen set up by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC).
Under the guidance of Shilpi Bagdi & Ajay Bagdi, The Power of One Welfare Foundation, took a beautiful initiative to spend some quality time with the students of the blind relief foundation on 16 Feb, 2020. The children were given fresh and tasty noodles and Chinese food.
On 26.01.2020, The Power of One Welfare Foundation along with Shilpi Bagdi and Ajay Bagdi, went to Blind Relief Association, Nagpur to celebrate Republic Day with the children over there. It’s very disheartening to see a child not able to see the vibrant colors of the world, when they have so much to look forward to. But, when we visited The Blind Relief Foundation, our team was astonished to see these kids defining up colors of laughter and joy in their own unique way. We interacted with the children over there, and felt overwhelmed on seeing such amount of enthusiasm. We served dinner to each and every kid, and had a lot of fun in their company. We look forward on spending more such amazing time with the children and helping them whenever they need us.
Under the guidance of Shilpi Bagdi & Ajay Bagdi, The Power of One Welfare Foundation, took an initiative to spend some time with the children of Yuva Jyothi Children's Home and celebrate the joy of Christmas and New Year's with them. We believe that, no one in the society should be deprived of anything, and when it comes to children, we want that, they shouldn't be deprived of any basic amenities. Hence, we distributed gifts, and refreshments to each and everyone there, so that these children do not miss upon the joy of all the festivities. We also invited Rushabh Jain to sing a few tunes to the kids, to which the kids danced and sang along. We are deeply thankful to each and everyone there for having us and making us a part of their family.
A medical health programme was arranged for the well being of expecting as well as proud mothers in Nagpur by The Power of One Welfare Foundation on Women's day'19.. Doctors gave necessary vaccinations and medical kits to mothers as well as to their kids to prevent potential diseases and have basic medicines handy.
To promote the importance of art in life children of Mahatma Gandhi shool in nagpur were encouraged to participate in a 'Draw and Dream' activity organised by The Power of One Welfare Foundation on World on Republic Day'19.
The Power of One Welfare Foundation had donated mixer grinder and buckets for the use of old age home residents in Swarna Vihar Old Age Home, Pune on Christmas Eve'18. The purpose was to provide modern and basic amenities for quality life of its residents.
Thriving in the field of charity, The Power of One Welfare Foundation, has added one more contribution by fruit distribution at Shri Shraddhanand Anathalaya, Shradhanand Peth, Nagpur for children dated 16th September 2018. The step is taken to promote healthy food habits and kindness towards underprivileged future of nation. Hemant Vaswani, Aaveg Bagdi and Gambhir Singh were present as organisers and volunteers to this event. Spreading joy with just one deed of yours!
The Power of One Welfare Foundation is a non governmental organisation. The Blind Relief Association was attended by Founders of the organisation, Ajay Bagadi and Shilpi Bagadi who distributed Fans to the institution hostel. The activists of the NGO, Hemant Vaswani and Nilesh Chaudhary, were also present.
A blood donation camp was organized at Congress Nagar, Nagpur on behalf of The Power of One Welfare Foundation. In this camp, 42 people donated blood. Founders of the organisation Ajay Bagdi and Shilpi Bagdi were present at the time. Shri Prabhakar Thosar conducted the program.
The Power of One Welfare Foundation distributed books to orphan student home of Lakdganj, Nagpur. Books were distributed to 9th and 10th students at Lakhadganj Nagpur, by Power of One Welfare Foundation. Founders of the organization Ajay Bagdi and Shilpi Bagdi were present on the occasion.
